English Quarterly is a not-for-profi t journal of the Canadian Council of Teachers of English Language Arts (ELA). The journal is available through membership only and has been in production for over 40 years, currently boasting an international readership. All articles are double-blind reviewed except in the case of special editions that are guest edited and focused on a particular topic of interest to EQ readers. In these cases, the reviewing is done by the guest editors and may or may not be double-blind reviewed, depending on the topic and venue.
