Bringing together researchers and graduate students at Canadian institutions, their membership is recognized for its scholarly excellence, creativity and leadership.

Universities and Colleges

Universities and colleges are the backbone of Canada's research and training enterprise in the full range of scholarly and scientific disciplines. The Federation's 75 institutional members offer programs in a wide range of humanities and social sciences disciplines.

Affiliate Members

In 2004, members of the General Assembly of the Federation approved the creation of a new category of membership described as "Affiliate Membership" with the objective of formalizing and strengthening relationships with national organizations dedicated to issues in postsecondary education and research. If your organization falls under this category, the Federation invites you to apply for affiliate membership.
